Phenomenological Constraints on Λ̄ and λ 1 Zoltan Ligeti and

Combining the experimental data on the inclusive decays D → X eν, B → X eν and B → X τ ν, we find severe constraints on the Λ̄ and λ1 parameters of the Heavy Quark Effective Theory. In particular, we get Λ̄ < 0.7GeV. Our constraints further imply mc ≥ 1.43GeV and mb ≥ 4.66GeV. We discuss future prospects of improving these bounds and their phenomenological
